WARSAW – Lakeview swept the middle school football games Tuesday, beating Wawasee in both the seventh and eighth grade games.
In the seventh grade contest, Lakeview won a tight one 14-12. Leyton Isbell ran for 60 yards and a touchdown and Jack Hill rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown for the Tigers. Julian Saldivar added 40 yards on the ground and a point-after try. Noah Laughlin, Quintan Maahs and Lucas Ceballos paced the Lakeview defense.
In the eighth grade matchup, Lakeview was stout in a 22-6 victory. Tucker Curtis, Kyle Schnackenberg and German Flores all scored for Lakeview while Omar Ponce kicked two extra points.
