SYRACUSE — Wawasee Middle School is holding registration for American Red Cross Summer Swim Lessons on Saturday, May 14 and Saturday, May 28 from 8 a.m. until noon. Registration may also be available at the start of each session based on openings. Parents can enter through the south side entrance near the pool.
There are two session dates available during the summer swim lessons. The first session will be held from June 6 until June 17 and the second session will begin on June 20 and end on July 1. The cost per child is $55 and checks can be made payable to Wawasee High School. Each class is scheduled to last 45 minutes.
There are five different class levels available for registration.
Parent and Child (6 months to 3 years) classes are available at 10:30, 11:30 a.m., 6 and 7 p.m.
Level 2 (fundamental aquatic skills) classes are available at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 a.m., 6 and 7 p.m.
Level 3 (stroke development) classes are available at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 a.m., 6 and 7 p.m.
Level 4 (stroke improvement) classes are available at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Level 5 (stroke refinement) classes are available at 11:30 a.m.
